Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an experienced Process Engineer III / Lead Process Engineer to join Project Farma in a global engineering capacity. The role requires technical leadership to oversee process design conducted by A&E firms, ensuring concepts, user requirements, equipment selections, layouts, utilities, and deliverables align with GMP and company objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Engineering (or related field).
• Approximately 5–10 years of pharma/biotech life-sciences engineering experience.
• Experience with pharmaceutical facility design and process engineering.
• Experience managing Architecture & Engineering firms and/or contractors.
• Ability to function effectively as an Owner’s Representative.
• Strong GMP knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Ability to review and challenge process engineering deliverables.
• Experience developing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specs, layouts.
• Travel willingness for client assignments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Process Engineering Owner’s Representative throughout design phases.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of A&E process engineering deliverables.
• Ensure designs meet user requirements and GMP standards.
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Support qualification and validation activities.
• Lead technical reviews and risk assessments.
