Kent is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to be based in our Houston, TX office, supporting regional project sites. The role demands a decade of process engineering in onshore oil and gas, with experience across production, NGL processing, midstream facilities, gas compression, refining, petrochemicals, and chemicals.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of process engineering experience in onshore oil and gas production, NGL processing, midstream facilities, gas compression, refining, petrochemicals, and/or chemicals.
• Experience across project development, pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design, including execution within an EPC environment.
• Strong knowledge of process facilities, equipment, utilities, and offsites, with modifications to operating facilities.
• Troubleshooting process and equipment performance issues and developing practical optimization recommendations.

Responsabilidades

• Execute process engineering work for onshore oil and gas projects across development stages and EPC execution.
• Serve as a client-facing Process Engineering focal point for assigned projects.
• Develop, review, and approve process engineering deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets.
• Perform process simulations and design calculations using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and PRO/II.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and provide practical corrective actions with operations teams.
• Lead or participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, MOC, and technical meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical, I&C, electrical, and CSA teams to ensure design alignment.
• Support brownfield modifications, tie-ins, and utility assessments.
• Develop scope definitions, estimates, and schedules; support proposals and follow-on work opportunities.
