Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Process Engineer for our Tucson, AZ facility. You will improve processes to cut costs, boost efficiency, and enhance safety while maximizing profitability. You’ll verify TDP shelf-life materials in MDPs, write processing procedures, and integrate equipment within the factory.

You will lead Lean-based improvements, train engineers, and coordinate with Materials & Process Engineering to address supply chain disruptions and material replacements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEMBachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with project execution and manufacturing/production processes.
• Clear technical writing and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Verify shelf-life materials are correctly called out in Manufacturing Data Packages.
• Write material processing procedures and document equipment functionality.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process and materials issues.
• Coordinate with MPE Labs for Cause Corrective Action as required.
