Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our low-carbon team. You will work with process engineers to identify customizable solutions for energy transition challenges, focusing on hydrogen, LNG, and CCS. Your role supports FEL-0 through FEL-2, with potential expansion across U.S. offices.

You will help develop front-end loading documents, scale processes for various facility sizes, and contribute to knowledge management within the team. A dynamic hybrid schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum five years of process engineering experience with process modeling.
• Experience with PFS/PEFS/PFDs/P&IDs and equipment design.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical due diligence on processes for hydrogen, LNG, methanol, ammonia, synthetic fuels, and CCS applications.
• Scale down processes and cost estimates to match client needs.
• Leverage low-carbon tech knowledge to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop mass and energy balance methods for end-use applications.
• Support proposals and manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Review large capital project documentation at FEL stages and construction.
