Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our low-carbon team. You will work with process engineers to identify customizable solutions for clients’ energy transition challenges, maintaining know-how on low-carbon fuels and LNG as fuel and feed to other processes.

This role supports front-end loading (FEL 0 to FEL 2/3) and developing FEL documents, with opportunities to contribute to green/blue hydrogen projects, LNG value chains, and CCS-enabled applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or higher.
• Minimum five years of process engineering experience with process modeling tools.
• Experience designing process diagrams and equipment; FEL stages.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence on hydrogen and LNG processes and related products.
• Scale processes and cost estimates for various production scales.
• Use low-carbon tech knowledge to support decision making.
• Develop mass and energy balance methodologies for end-use apps.
• Contribute to knowledge management in the Process Engineering team.
• Lead and participate in proposal preparation for BD.
• Manage multiple projects and proposals in fast-paced settings.
• Review capital project documentation across FEL stages.
• Model processes to prepare cost estimates per AACE guidelines.
