Job summary

DNV Energy Systems seeks a Senior Process Engineer to join our Low-Carbon Services team in the United States. You will work with process engineers to identify customizable solutions for clients' energy transition challenges, supporting hydrogen, LNG, and carbon capture initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-carbon fuels, hydrogen production and its integration into supply chains or derivative production (ammonia, methanol, synthetic fuels)
• Experience with LNG value chain and application to power/ CCS projects
• Strong ability to generate FEL documentation and perform process modeling at various facility scales

Responsibilities

• Perform technical due diligence on processes for producing and using hydrogen and hydrogen-derived products (methanol, ammonia, synthetic fuels).
• Scale down processes and cost estimates for client interests; design and optimize production processes of different scales.
• Apply deep knowledge of low-carbon technologies and process modeling to predict scenarios for client decisions.
• Develop, lead, and coordinate mass and energy balance methodologies to assess end-use applications' technical and economic impacts.
• Contribute to know-how building and knowledge management within the Process Engineering team.
• Support business development by leading and participating in proposal preparation.
• Manage work for multiple projects and proposals in a fast-paced environment.
• Review capital project documentation at FEL-2 to Construction to ensure information completeness.
• Design processes using process modeling tools to prepare a Cost Estimate Class 4 as per AACE.
