Job summary

U.S. Pipe is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Lynchburg team. You will develop systems and processes to reduce costs, improve safety, enhance product quality, and increase operating efficiency and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include data-driven process improvements, cost analysis, quality control enhancements, and leading Capex initiatives while supporting OPEX, safety, and production procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of broad-based engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean and Quality Assurance experience required; 7+ years preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CAD software, preferably AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements by analyzing manufacturing data to reduce costs and improve safety.
• Evaluate and improve quality processes and process control.
• Plan labor, materials, and production costs to optimize workflows.
• Integrate facility layouts and production lines for better performance.
• Lead Capex projects and support OPEX programs.
