Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of broad-based engineering experience in manufacturing; Lean and Quality Assurance experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve processes by analyzing data to enhance safety, quality, delivery and costs.
• Evaluate quality processes and recommend improvements in process control.
• Analyze labor, material and production costs to optimize workflows.
• Integrate facility layouts, production lines and machine operations.
• Resolve production issues and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Identify needs, propose improvements and evaluate costs to optimize machinery and processes.
• Support and participate in OPEX programs to develop production procedures.
• Lead Capex projects and participate in safety and quality initiatives.
• Develop automated and non-automated systems; explore CNC opportunities and introduce new equipment.
• Manage Capex projects from design to installation and commissioning.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, procedures and parts lists for plant use.
• Select and execute projects with outside contractors.
