The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of manufacturing experience, with strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years of engineering or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid foundation in root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements manufacturing processes for new and existing products, balancing production requirements with cost targets.
• Resolves operational issues related to tooling, fixturing, and equipment parameters to keep production running smoothly.
• Creates fixturing and error-proofing solutions to reduce scrap and improve first-pass yield on problem operations.
• Conducts time studies to establish standard work and validate performance against cost estimates.
• Applies statistical process control and capability analysis to drive consistent, high-yield production.
• Supports new product introduction, including tooling planning, routings, and bill of materials development.
• Analyzes shop floor performance data to identify gaps and implement corrective process improvements.
• Uses quality planning tools to proactively reduce scrap risk and prevent quality issues from reaching the customer.
• Contributes to cost estimating for both new and ongoing production programs.
• Champions cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Acts as a technical point of contact for customers and suppliers on process and specification-related matters.
• Provides hands-on technical support to production teams.
