Job summary

Fortune Brands' New London facility seeks a Senior Process Engineer to drive world-class manufacturing improvements via hands-on process development, controls, layout, and ergonomic design. You will lead a team of shift process technicians and collaborate with extrusion experts to implement robust, capable processes and capital projects.

You will manage documentation, ensure regulatory and customer requirements, and apply best practices across the site, including NPD support and fault-finding

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Manufacturing/Process Engineering or related field.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and collaborative teams.
• Knowledge of Core Quality Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
• Experience CAD and interpreting technical drawings and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively support Health and Safety improvements across the business.
• Develop and implement robust advanced manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Create process documentation including one-point lessons, visuals, and work instructions.
• Lead data-driven process improvement projects focused on OEE and safety.
• Provide technical guidance and fault-solving support during design, build and use.
• Deliver pre-manufacturing engineering processes for new product launches, including rules for design, manufacture and assembly.
• Oversee prototype builds and BOMs, tooling, and fixturing for validation of new designs.
• Maintain technical data, change notifications, test procedures and drawings.
