Job summary

Real Flame is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Wisconsin to own engineering milestones, reviews, and product launch readiness. You will partner with Product Design, Quality, Purchasing, Sourcing, and Manufacturing partners to drive continuous improvement of engineering standards and launch processes.

Ideal candidates will bring strong project management, Lean/DFM mindset, and hands-on experience with CAD and ERP systems to ensure products are developed, reviewed, documented, and launched to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Industrial engineering.
• 3–6 years in product development, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or NPI roles.
• Experience with stage-gate or structured product development systems.
• Strong understanding of furniture/outdoor living product manufacturing processes and cross-functional project management.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering milestones, redlines, reviews, and launch requirements before project advancement.
• Monitor development timelines and engineering workflows for compliance.
• Track status, identify gaps and risks impacting launch readiness.
• Manage engineering documentation throughout the development cycle.
• Own ECO/change-control process, including approvals and documentation.
• Lead formal process reviews across concept to launch stages.
• Ensure prints, BOMs, specs meet GD&T and company standards.
• Coordinate signoffs and approvals for project progression.
• Collaborate with design engineering to mitigate technical risks.
• Drive lean, speed, and quality improvements in the product development process.
