Job summary

aisincareers is seeking a Manufacturing Process Launch Engineer to lead new product introductions, validate processes, equipment, and quality, and guide ramp-ups to achieve quality, cost, and schedule targets.

You will collaborate with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and other teams; perform capability studies, write process specs, and drive continuous improvement on launches. This role includes on-floor startup support and potential off-shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED.
• Associates degree with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering related role in the automotive industry.
• 5-10 years' experience in an engineering related role in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive all operational aspects of new product/process introductions during ramp-up.
• Define, validate, and document new assembly, molding, welding and testing processes.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, Manufacturing and Maintenance to meet targets.
• Monitor yields, scrap, throughput, and downtime; implement corrective actions.
• Lead capital expenditure budgeting and supplier coordination.
