Job summary
Red Seal Recruiting is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager in Milwaukee to lead assembly-line setup, introduce new products, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate design hand-off to production, develop standards, and push lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve safety.
The role requires strong CAD skills (Pro-E/Creo), MS Office proficiency, and experience turning concepts into production on large assemblies.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering; Master's preferred
- 5–12 years of manufacturing engineering in large assembly
- Proficiency with CAD tools (Pro-E/Creo) and MS Office
- Lean and Six Sigma knowledge
- Experience bringing concepts to production on assembly lines
Responsibilities
- Lead setup of assembly line; establish processes and documentation
- Bring mobile equipment products from design hand-off to production
- Plan and lead introduction of products on the floor; integrate into lines
- Lead development of Operation Method Standards
- Apply Lean and Continuous Improvement to reduce waste
- Troubleshoot production line problems
- Lead risk mitigation, ISO compliance, and cost reduction
- Lead design initiatives for layout, tooling, and part flow
- Justify capital equipment
- Advance safety and ergonomic practices
