Job summary

Real Flame is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Wisconsin to ensure engineering processes, product development procedures, and launch requirements are followed across new product programs. You will act as the process authority for the Engineering team, ensuring milestones, reviews, documentation, and cross-functional deliverables are met before progressing to the next development stage.

You will work with Design Engineering, Product Development, Quality, Purchasing, Sourcing, Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline relevant to product development and manufacturing
• 3–6 years in product development, manufacturing engineering, or NPI roles
• Experience with stage-gate or structured product development processes
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for furniture/outdoor living/consumer products
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with suppliers, quality, engineering, and sourcing teams
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to drive accountability

Responsibilities

• Own engineering milestones, redlines, reviews, and launch requirements for new projects
• Monitor development timelines and engineering workflows across programs
• Track project status and identify gaps or risks affecting launch readiness
• Oversee engineering documentation throughout the development cycle
• Own the ECO/change-control process and related approvals
• Report on process adoption and effectiveness to leadership
• Develop and maintain engineering SOPs and best practices
• Provide training on engineering procedures and standards
