The Richmond Group USA is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process development, optimization, and scale-up for cGMP chemical manufacturing in Pennsylvania.

This strategic role focuses on improving throughput, quality, safety, and cost across chemical operations while driving process validation and change control. You will mentor engineers and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver major process improvements for pharmaceutical ingredients.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing and regulated process industries.
• Knowledge of process scale-up and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, optimization, scale-up, and commercialization projects.
• Improve throughput, quality, safety, and cost across chemical operations.
• Drive process validation, qualification, and cGMP initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term engineering solutions.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Validation, and EHS on projects.
• Mentor engineers while strengthening the engineering function.
