Job summary

WesTech Engineering in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a Senior Process Engineer to support our Process Engineering team across the project lifecycle. The role focuses on development of technical solutions for industrial water and wastewater applications, from early opportunity development to execution, collaborating with sales, lab and field teams.

Candidates will design processes, perform calculations, support proposals, and mentor junior engineers while traveling up to 25% for site visits and tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 15+ years of process engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical discussions and supporting proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review process diagrams, mass balances, specs, and drawings (PFDs, P&IDs).
• Perform process calculations including equipment sizing and chemical reactions.
• Develop advanced treatment solutions (membranes, high-recovery systems).
• Support proposal development and technical discussions with customers and sales.
• Lead pilot testing, feasibility studies, and process validation.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across sales, lab, and engineering teams.
