Job summary

Campbell Wood Search is seeking a Senior Process Engineer specializing in industrial wastewater to develop and support technical solutions for complex water/wastewater projects. You will lead process design tasks, from early opportunity scope through testing, commissioning and troubleshooting, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with sales, laboratory, and project teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or Civil engineering and 15+ years in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of relevant process engineering experience.
Strong process design fundamentals including mass balances, P&ID reviews and equipment sizing.
Experience supporting proposals and leading technical discussions with customers.
Demonstrated knowledge of water chemistry.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage several projects, work independently and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review process flow diagrams, mass balances, project specifications, P&IDs and hydraulic profiles.
Perform process calculations, including equipment sizing, chemical reactions and chemical dosing.
Develop treatment solutions for membrane systems, water reuse, high-recovery systems and other complex applications.
Support proposals by defining scope, preparing process descriptions and equipment lists, reviewing technical content, and joining customer discussions.
Take part in feasibility assessments, bench-scale and pilot testing, process validation, and interpretation of results.
Provide technical support for commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, RFIs, site audits and field analysis.
Prepare and review process performance guarantees, and help improve technical tools and workflows.
Develop technical content for conferences, internal training and sales support.
Communicate with customers and colleagues, and mentor junior engineers.
