Job summary

Plexus Corp in Appleton, WI is seeking a Process Engineer Staff - Regional Hand Solder & Rework SME to provide technical expertise across manufacturing, drive quality and efficiency, and lead new product introduction. You will apply IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 knowledge, mentor teams, manage tooling and processes, and ensure manufacturability of complex PCBA rework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of related experience preferred.
• SME in Hand Solder & Rework of PCBA's.
• Knowledge of IPC-7711/7721, IPC J-STD-001 (Space/Military Addendum), IPC-A-610.
• Understanding of leaded vs lead-free alloys and IMC growth.
• Experience with semi-automated/robotic/laser soldering processes.
• Ability to define standards, select tooling, and architect rework processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
