Job summary

ValSource is seeking an experienced Process Engineering leader to drive GMP capital projects from design through startup. You will lead teams across Process Engineering, Automation, CQV and other functions, coordinating vendor activities and on-site testing at client sites.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pharma/biotech with capital project experience, strong GMP knowledge, and outstanding communication and organizational skills. This is an onsite role in Rahway, NJ with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing with capital projects.
• Strong GMP, API, and process operations knowledge; field troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive design issues to closure.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams across process engineering, automation, CQV and others to drive capital projects.
• Coordinate vendor activities, on-site logistics, and field testing.
• Translate client requirements into detailed design and equipment specifications.
• Oversee FAT/SAT testing, safety reviews, and CQV execution at sites.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality within project limits.
