Job summary

RESPEC is hiring a seasoned Business / Process Engineer to support a federal government client. The role bridges engineering operations, enterprise technology platforms, and organizational change management.

You will work directly with engineering teams, compliance stakeholders, and system integrators to capture, analyze, and optimize mission-critical workflows across hardware and software development lifecycles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or IT.
10–15 years (Principal) or 15+ years (Expert) in business architecture or process engineering.
Advanced degree may substitute for up to two years of required experience.
Experience supporting National Laboratories, DOE/NNSA programs, or complex defense facilities.

Responsibilities

Map end-to-end engineering lifecycle processes and data handoffs across PLM/ALM environments.
Conduct gap analyses between legacy workflows and modern Digital Thread/PLM architectures.
Define requirements, governance models, and traceability for enterprise software assets.
Translate regulatory requirements into clear specifications for implementation teams.
Develop process documentation, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
