Job summary

RESPEC is hiring a seasoned Business Process Engineer to support our federal government client. The role bridges engineering operations, enterprise platforms, and organizational change management to optimize PLM/ALM workflows.

The senior position requires deep domain expertise, with governance, traceability, and compliance across design engineering, configuration management, and software development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or IT with 10–15 years (Principal) or 15+ years (Expert).
• Experience supporting DOE/NNSA National Laboratories or defense programs with strict configuration control.
• Deep domain expertise in process engineering and systems thinking; translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR, export controls, and quality assurance frameworks (NQA-1, AS9100).
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture current-state engineering workflows and map data flows across PLM/ALM.
• Design target-state process architectures and governance for PLM/ALM.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data-flow mapping.
• Develop roadmaps with milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure traceability, compliance, and long-term sustainability of PLM/ALM solutions.
