Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our New London, NC site. You will lead continuous improvement, safety, standard work and equipment validation across the plant, driving OEE gains and cost-efficient capital projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to install and validate new equipment, create work instructions, and develop scalable processes. Strong experience in PDCA/SMED/6 Sigma and plant-wide 5S standards is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing engineering experience.
• 5+ years in process improvement with demonstrated projects and impact.
• Knowledge of PDCA, SMED, 6 Sigma.
• Strong drive to continuously improve plant operations.
• Interpersonal & communication skills at all levels.
• Experience writing SOPs and work instructions.
• Proven facilitation, leadership, mentoring and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs design, development and improvement of manufacturing processes for an assigned area.
• Analyzes product designs for best method of manufacture.
• Develops and tests new equipment, processes, and layouts.
• Drives data-driven process improvements focused on OEE and safety.
• Leads RCA to mitigate hindrances to increased OEE and safety.
• Ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Quantifies improvements via ROI, MTBF, WIP reductions.
• Supports plant standards for 5S and visual management.
