Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering is required.
• Experience in the power market is highly valued.
• Experience with carbon capture technologies and amine gas purification is highly valued.
• Experience with process simulators such as HYSYS, Pro II, ProMax, ProTreat, etc.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional engineers license (PE) is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop Process Engineering deliverables on mid- to large-size projects or proposals.
• Generate design deliverables such as process design basis, philosophy documents, process simulations, and PFDs/P&IDs.
• Perform research and recommend technologies, equipment, and material selections.
• Address client considerations throughout the project lifecycle with design philosophy.
• Serve as technical specialist and point of contact for customers.
• Identify design solutions to optimize project capital or operating costs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality oversight for junior engineers.
