Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Process Engineer to join the Core Technology Hardware team. You will engineer support for battery test vehicle manufacturing lines and lead build line equipment and processes, collaborating across mechanical, test, and science teams to deliver repeatable products.

Relocation assistance is available. You will help establish standards, drive line bringups, and mentor team members to advance green energy manufacturing capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands‑on experience with sensitive hardware and proper PPE, tools, and team operations.
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD tools and project planning software.

Responsibilities

• Drive new manufacturing line bringups as products evolve.
• Lead technical assessment of build processes for continuous improvement.
• Triage line capabilities against new revisions and R&D experiments.
• Develop designs for mechanical and electromechanical work stations.
• Mentor the manufacturing team to build repeatable lines for green energy tech.
• Set standards for equipment design, vendor management, and change control.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks through design reviews and PFMEA/DFMEA.
