Job summary

Everforth Apex in Wilmington, MA, is seeking a senior Process Engineer to lead the ramp-up of automated production lines and transition them to optimized operations. You will own process development, validation against specs, and drive yield/throughput improvements in a high-volume environment.

The role requires 8+ years in process/manufacturing engineering, strong DOE/SPC/MSA/PFMEA skills, and experience solving complex mechanical and HMI-related issues. On-site with a contract arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 8+ years of process/manufacturing engineering in a high-volume production environment.
• Strong expertise in DOE, SPC, MSA, PFMEA and structured problem-solving methods (DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D).

Responsibilities

• Lead process development for automated/semi-automated lines to meet specs.
• Establish process capability (CpK) and run validation plans.
• Implement SPC and continuous monitoring to prevent quality drift.
• Develop PFMEA and control plans to mitigate risks.
• Analyze manufacturing anomalies to determine root causes (process vs equipment).
• Drive yield, quality, and cycle-time improvements using DOE and Lean methods.
