Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Advisor – Process Engineer for the Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana. You will serve as a senior technical authority across process development, scale-up, and manufacturing support for the small molecule node, helping shape equipment, processes, and the engineering culture for a greenfield site.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS/BS in Chemical Engineering or related with 10+ years pharma process engineering experience.
• Deep technical expertise in chemical engineering fundamentals and pharmaceutical process development.
• Experience with process simulation tools (DynoChem, Aspen) and process control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead scale-up from lab to kilo lab to pilot plant with rigorous safety and process-knowledge validation.
• Provide expert guidance on reactor design, heat and mass transfer, and process modeling across modalities.
• Lead P&ID reviews and communicate design intent across engineering, vendors and partner functions.
• Train and mentor process engineers on GMP, scale-up, and Foundry technical requirements.
