Description

Dollar Tree seeks a Senior Process Engineer for the Logistics Engineering Team. Responsibilities include designing and executing process improvements in distribution centers, supporting labor management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a background in distribution operations, labor and performance management, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, project management, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and document operating procedures using lean principles
• Implement process innovations across facilities
• Develop and maintain labor standards and reporting systems
• Guide onsite teams in data collection and analysis
• Innovate to increase customer value, reduce costs, and enhance capacity
• Identify root causes of performance issues through data analysis
• Partner with operations to ensure solutions meet goals
• Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams
• Coordinate with IT on software enhancements

Basic Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical)
• At least 7 years as an Engineer or Project Manager
• Minimum 3 years working with Labor Management Systems
• Knowledge of work standardization, time studies, MOST or similar tools
• Process and Project Management skills
• Strong relationship-building abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced data analysis skills; proficiency with tools like Minitab, Excel, MS Access
• Willingness to travel up to 75%
• Remote work eligibility near a major airport
• Experience with labor management system implementation
• Proven track record of process improvements
• Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions

Compensation and Benefits

Start rate: $91k-$125K base + bonus + equity. Benefits include health, dental, vision, FSA, life and disability insurance, 401k, PTO, holidays, and employee stock purchase plan.
