Job summary

Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Process Engineer in Pennsylvania to lead design and design-build projects for municipal water and wastewater facilities. You will manage scope, deliverables, and client coordination from proposal through completion.

Requires a Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering degree, Professional Engineer license, and experience with municipal wastewater; DBIA/PMP a plus. The firm supports hybrid work, professional development, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer's license is required.
• DBIA and/or PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience in municipal wastewater is required, including production of contract drawings and specifications.
• Experience with contract and construction management and with industrial wastewater treatment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and approachable demeanor for client interaction.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and construction drawings and standard specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work with strict and competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Tackle new projects with unknown scopes and limited guidance.
• Work independently from proposal to deliverable, managing timelines.
• Develop proposal scopes with Project Managers and Client Managers.
• Lead design and specification of full projects.
• Coordinate with team, Owners and Clients on scope and decisions.
• Balance multiple design and construction schedules.
• Perform calculations for biological treatment, pipes and pumps.
• Edit CSI specifications for project manuals.
• Collaborate with Designers to develop drawing packages.
• Develop concepts for wastewater treatment processes.
• QC and PE reviews for peers' work.
• Provide high-level deliverable QC input.

Salary Range: $109,000.00 To $136,000.00 Annually

Required Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Take on new projects with unknown scopes with limited guidance and use available resources
• Be self-sufficient on project tasks from proposal to deliverable, and self-manage workload and project timelines
• Develop proposal scopes with Project Managers and Client Managers
• Take solo responsibility for the design and specification of full projects
• Coordinate directly with team members, Owners and Clients on required information, scope, and technical decisions
• Manage multiple concurrent, competing schedules between design and construction projects
• Develop calculations for biological treatment,process pipe, and pump sizes
• Edit CSI type specifications for project manuals
• Work with Designers to develop drawing packages, provide markups
• Develop concepts for wastewater treatment process
• Provide QC and PE reviews for the work of other staff members
• Deliverable QC review comments are abstract and discussion based on high level concepts
