Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience in water/wastewater.
  • Strong understanding of I&C systems and control technologies.
  • Advanced understanding of instrumentation and controls in water/wastewater.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge in using AutoCAD Electrical and libraries.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with clients and team members.
  • Manage client relationships, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Oversee project performance, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, contractors and vendors.
  • Identify project risks and work on mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, issues and solutions to project leads, management, and clients.
  • Ensure all work adheres to regulatory and safety standards; create scope of work details and prepare pricing for proposals and change orders.
  • Review control panel calculations, drawings, I/O lists, Submittals and O&M Manuals and provide feedback to I&C Designers.

Salary Range: $98,000.00 To $117,500.00 Annually

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management in water / wastewater industry
  • Strong understanding of I&C systems and control technologies used in water / wastewater treatment facilities
  • Advanced understanding of instrumentation and controls in water / wastewater
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, approachability in demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities, including managing challenging or complex interactions
  • Comfortable reading and understanding engineering and construction drawings, and standard specifications
  • Knowledge in using AutoCAD electrical and libraries
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and show close attention to detail
  • Ability to work with strict and competing deadlines on an ongoing basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
