The firm maintains five offices in the region, including Lewes and Seaford, Delaware. The Mechanical Engineer position requires a PE license and a strong background in consulting engineering for HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license is required.
• Consulting engineering experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems for commercial, municipal, or industrial facilities.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and construction drawings and standard specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with peers and clients.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work with strict and competing deadlines on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop full deliverable packages from an approved proposal.
• Coordinate directly with other disciplines to gather necessary project information.
• Manage multiple concurrent, competing schedules between design and construction projects.
• Provide QC and PE reviews on the work of other staff members.
• Participate in QC review with high-level abstract comments and discussions.
