Job summary

Henkel AG & Co. KGaA in the United States is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive the scale-up of thermal interface material product lines used in aerospace.

You will work in cross-functional teams to bridge product development and manufacturing, ensuring smooth transfer from development to production. You will design experiments, document results, and present scale-up reports to senior management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Scale-up of multi-million-dollar thermal interface material product lines for aerospace applications.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to link product development and manufacturing.
• Create process flow charts, FMEAs and control plans for new products.
• Conduct DoE to understand material/process/product parameters.
• Present scale-up reports to management and customers.
• Lead scale-up projects at Bay Point site.

What you’ll do

• The Product Development Engineer is responsible for the scale-up of newly developed multi-million-dollar thermal interface material product lines used in a variety of aerospace applications.
• Works in cross-functional teams to link product development and manufacturing on projects for top tier companies in the industrial sector.
• Creates process flow charts, FMEAs and control plans for new products.
• Runs design of experiments to understand relationship between raw materials, process and final product parameters.
• Presents scale-up reports to top management and external customers.
• Responsible for scale-up projects at our Bay Point site.
