Job summary

Henkel is seeking a seasoned engineering leader in the Adhesive Technologies group to drive strategic initiatives with automotive and industrial customers. You will travel ~50% to engage with customers and suppliers, understand BIW and vehicle structural systems, and shape roadmaps to grow profitability in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role demands 7–10 years in strategic engineering or platform management, plus sales exposure, to steer product launches and future-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• 7–10 years of experience in strategic engineering or platform management roles, ideally in automotive/industrial sectors with sales experience.
• Strong technical understanding of Body in White and vehicle structural systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers and suppliers around 50%.
• Develop and execute customer roadmaps to drive profitable growth.
• Identify key decision makers and build relationships with customers and suppliers.

What You´ll Do

• Frequent travel/visits to the customers and suppliers, around 50%.
• Technical understanding of body in white, vehicle structure to anticipate customers needs and values for customer.
• Develops, supports and executes customer roadmaps, steers profitable growth.
• Identify key Decsion makers and built relationship with cutomers and suppliers focus engineering centers.
• Collaborates closely with Technical Team/Marketing/Sales/Kam to steer activities.
• Analyes and builts deifferent future scenarios to create new paths of business.
• Steers and enroles new products launches at customers.

What makes you a good fit

The salary for this role is $120,000.00- $135,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
