Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a senior Business Process Engineer within the Continuous Improvement Team in Springfield, MA. You will design and optimize end-to-end processes across advisor, client, and employee journeys, shaping work design from discovery to steady-state improvement.

You will collaborate with Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, and Compliance to ensure scalable, high-value transformations that enhance quality, speed, and resilience across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in process engineering, business transformation, operational excellence, service design, or management consulting.
• 5+ years of experience leading highly visible, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business units and senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, business, information systems, or operations in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Translate advisor, client, employee, business, risk, and technology needs into end-to-end processes that improve experience, cost, quality, speed, and resiliency.
• Shape how work is designed, not simply documenting current practices, from discovery through implementation and stabilization.
• Collaborate across Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and customer experience teams to resolve design tradeoffs.
• Lead ongoing stewardship of process designs and establish clear responsibilities and measures.
