Job summary

LyondellBasell seeks a Lead, Process Control Systems Engineer for its Corpus Christi Operations. You will lead and mentor the Process Control/CSE team, ensuring plant process controls stay robust and compliant with corporate standards, while guiding projects from conception to completion.

You will collaborate with maintenance and production to resolve reliability issues, implement new technologies, and contribute to safety and environmental goals.

Qualifications

• Four-year Engineering degree (Chemical or Electrical) preferred.
• Typically a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of industrial process control systems: TDC 3000, Experion, Integrity, IP.21, Optimizer, DMC3, HMI graphics, Windows OS, networks and security.
• Good organizational and MS Office proficiency; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily process control systems support to the plant to keep systems operational.
• Provide technical leadership for Process Control/CSE Engineers and mentor staff.
• Ensure projects follow sound engineering practices, plant standards and control system philosophy.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production on reliability and process improvements.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer on new technologies and software within the group.
• Stay current with new process control technologies and vendor support calendars.
