Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Reliability Engineer, Process Analyzer at the La Porte site. You will lead lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements for process analyzer systems, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Projects to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role involves developing analyzer scopes, managing capital projects, and supporting regulatory and quality requirements. A strong background in process analyzers and MOC is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related discipline preferred.
• Working knowledge of process analyzers, sample systems, instrumentation, or manufacturing reliability is required.
• Working knowledge of Management of Change and its application in chemical manufacturing or similar environments is required, including MOC sponsor qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and lead the long-range plan for analyzers and oversee the five-year project plan.
• Provide guidance to asset technical teams and support complex troubleshooting and incidents.
• Lead or participate in PHAs and RCFA teams as needed and manage analyzer reliability metrics.
