Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Development Chemist to lead the development and characterization of chemical processes from bench to pilot scale.

You will investigate reaction kinetics, crystallization behavior, impurity rejection, and operating windows while collaborating with engineers to translate data into production equipment. This onsite role (Penrose, CO with a move to Pueblo, CO) reports to the Chief Engineer and offers growth opportunities as the team expands.

Formación

• MS in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related physical science.
• 5+ years in process development or scale-up.
• Experience designing and executing DoE to define operating windows.
• Hands-on crystallization and purification/separation processes.
• Experience assessing reaction and thermal hazards.
• Proven ability transferring a process from lab to pilot/production.
• Ability to communicate technical results in writing and presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Design and run bench-scale experiments to characterize kinetics, crystallization, and impurities.
• Apply DoE to define operating windows and critical parameters.
• Assess reaction and thermal hazards for safe scale-up.
• Ensure designs are scale-relevant with respect to mixing and heat transfer.
• Produce data packages for transfer to engineering.
• Collaborate with chemical engineers to close data gaps.
• Support safe lab operations and waste minimization.
