Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Staff Probe Card Engineer in Boise, Idaho, to lead probe card design and qualification for current and next‑gen products.

You will collaborate with Test, Assembly, Design, and Product Eng teams, plus HVM sites, to deliver robust probe cards and enable roadmap milestones. The role requires 10+ years in probe card design, strong SI/PI knowledge, and hands-on validation experience in lab or production settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on probe card design experience.
• Strong grasp of digital and analog circuit fundamentals.
• Experience reading and designing schematics and mechanical specs.
• Proficient in lab or production hardware validation with wafer test cells.
• Mastery of 3D CAD, statistics, data analysis, and DOE.

Responsibilities

• Own probe card design specifications, rules, and bond pad layouts.
• Qualify FOAK technologies and define new equipment specifications.
• Debug pre-production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage global supplier base and lead cross-site technical meetings.
• Present technical insights to engineering leadership for cross-functional alignment.
