• Experience conducting interviews to gather information.
• Experience working with adult supervisees and reentry planning.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a specialized caseload of high-risk inmates and probationers; performs investigations, casework and administrative services.
• Effectively applies evidence-based practices to promote internal change for the probationer.
• Collaborates with probationer, district, and community resources to develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Make home and community contacts and prepare Pre-sentence Investigations and other reports; testify and provide sentencing recommendations to the court/attorney.
• Coaches and mentors line probation officers, covers vacancies, provides training for new staff, and reviews presentence reports.
