Job summary

Apex Group in New York, NY, is seeking a Senior Sales Professional to drive primary and secondary distribution of private funds and SPV structures. You will cultivate relationships with end investors and intermediaries to develop a robust book of business.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/ Economics background, 10+ years in private markets, and FINRA licenses; you will engage with cross-functional teams, travel to conferences, and lead market initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in private markets distribution and secondary trading.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) required.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a sales strategy for primary and secondary distribution of private funds/SPV structures.
• Target RIAs, family offices, wealth managers, private and secondary market platforms and broker-dealer networks.
• Partner with product, operations and compliance for onboarding and execution with partners.
• Represent the firm at conferences, webinars and industry events.
• Provide sales reporting, market feedback and investor sentiment analysis.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop presentations and materials.
