Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a growing team delivering accounting and administrative services for alternative investment clients. You will allocate income, calculate management and incentive fees, and oversee capital events across funds.

You will onboard funds, ensure accuracy of NAV reporting, and drive process improvements while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and PE experience are essential, with CPA favorable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• At least 5 to 6 years of Private Equity experience
• Experience with alternative investment asset classes, complex fund structures and fee calculations desired.
• Highly effective communication and management skills
• Ability to thrive and function in a high-pressure deadline driven environment
• CPA qualification is favorable but not required
• Experience with Investran or Geneva favorable but not required

Responsibilities

• Manage a growing team of financial services professionals in accounting and admin services for alternative investment client relationships.
• Allocate income to investors and determine management and incentive fees per waterfall provisions.
• Oversee portfolio and fund level accounting and NAV reporting.
• Lead onboarding of existing client funds and launch of new funds.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Design and champion technology solutions for reporting and data requirements.
• Identify and participate in cross-sell opportunities.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and develop staff.
