Job summary

State Street in New Jersey is seeking a senior Private Equity NAV professional to manage accounting and administration for multiple funds, including income allocations and capital events. You will lead onboarding, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive reporting accuracy.

Collaborate with trade operations, tax, and finance teams, while designing data- driven solutions to support investor reporting on a global scale. A CPA and Investran/Geneva experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5–6 years of Private Equity experience.
• Experience with alternative investment asset classes, complex fund structures and fee calculations desired.
• CPA qualification is favorable but not required.
• Experience with Investran or Geneva favorable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a growing team delivering accounting and administrative services for one or more alternative investment client relationships.
• Allocate income to investors, determine fees per waterfall, and process capital events like calls and distributions.
• Oversee fund and portfolio accounting including review/approval of NAV reporting.
• Lead onboarding of existing client funds and launch of new funds.
• Demonstrate commitment to client satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Design and champion technology solutions for complex reporting and data needs.
• Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Participate in strategic groups to improve processes and operating model.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff to realize their potential.
