Job summary

SS&C Technologies is seeking a Manager, Private Equity Fund Accounting to lead client relationships and oversee accounting and reporting for private equity funds in a hybrid setting (New York, Boston, Union).

You will manage capital activity, waterfalls, financial reporting, and audits while developing junior staff and ensuring timely, high-quality service across complex engagements. CPA is a plus; strong Excel and Sungard Investran skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience with emphasis on alternative investment funds (private equity funds).
• 2+ years of management/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage key client relationships and ensure timely delivery of fund accounting and reporting deliverables.
• Lead and develop junior staff, including setting goals and performance feedback.
• Review fund governing documents to ensure accurate application of fund terms and oversee capital calls, distributions, accruals and valuations.
• Prepare and review investor allocations, capital accounts, and management fee calculations.
• Coordinate year-end audits with clients, auditors and internal teams.
• Support tax reporting and other client deliverables as needed.
