Job summary

SS&C Technologies is seeking an Associate Manager in Dallas to lead fund accounting and financial statement preparation for private equity clients. The role combines day-to-day accounting work with client interaction and team development.

You will oversee preparation of financial statements, coordinating with audits, and guiding junior staff while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. The position requires GAAP knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Progressive accounting experience with alternative investment funds.
• Experience preparing and reviewing fund financial statements and disclosures.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP for investment companies/partnerships.
• Experience leading teams or coordinating deliverables.
• Experience supporting external audits and communicating with clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Record investment transactions, capital calls, distributions, and valuations.
• Review trial balances, ledgers, and workpapers.
• Coordinate audits and interface with clients and auditors.
• Lead a team, assign work, and monitor deadlines.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen controls.
