Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join our growing team and lead daily fund operations across private equity vehicles. You will manage the accounting of funds, mentor a small staff, interface with clients, and ensure accurate capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS where applicable.

The role emphasizes process improvement, thorough review, and collaboration with Directors. Hybrid work: three days in office, two remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance.
• 7+ years of Private Equity Fund/Investment Company Accounting & Reporting experience.
• Ability to learn on-the-job quickly and apply learning to clients.
• Ability to adapt to changes in processes in a rapidly changing environment.
• Management and supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Superior problem solving, judgment and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with the Director/Managing Director managing daily Fund Operations.
• Manage the operations and accounting of an existing fund independently.
• Interface with and manage a client/business with limited guidance.
• Familiar with LPAs and governing documents; extract key economics and document summaries.
• Supervise and direct a small accounting staff if required.
• Oversee setup of Client Funds deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs) and approve before director review.
• Perform analyses of Financial Reports and Private Equity transactions per client and team.
