Job summary

Audax Private Debt in Boston seeks an experienced accounting professional to lead the accounting and reporting for its private debt funds. You will support FP&A, Tax, and Investor Relations with timely investment and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, reviewing fund administrator work, administering capital calls and distributions, coordinating with auditors, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting required.
• 5-8 years’ experience focused on partnerships and investment; private debt experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP financial reporting experience.
• CPA or advanced certification a plus.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements of Private Debt funds.
• Review fund administrator’s work on Private Debt funds.
• Handle accounting, reporting, and compliance for certain funds.
• Administer funds: capital calls and distributions.
• Assist Investor Relations with fundraising materials and due diligence data.
• Collaborate with external auditors for year-end audits.
• Assist tax with quarterly estimates and year-end allocations.
• Monitor cash and reconcile with bank statements.
• Track and update investment portfolios for the funds.
• Record daily activity in general ledger and portfolio system.
