Job summary

Landing Point in Boston is seeking a Senior Associate for the Private Debt division to lead financial reporting and accounting for Private Debt funds. The role focuses on ensuring accurate fund-level statements and investor deliverables, with collaboration across audit, investor relations, and tax teams.

The candidate should have a CPA, 3–5+ years of experience, and strong GAAP reporting skills to support year-end audits and fund performance analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with a CPA.
• 3–5+ years of experience, including public accounting, preferably in alternative investment asset managers.
• Advanced GAAP financial reporting experience.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and fund-level returns.
• Prepare MD&A on fund performance for senior management.
• Review fund administrator's work on Private Debt funds.
• Prepare and review capital calls and distributions.
• Track and update the investment portfolio of Private Debt funds.
• Track interest payments across the portfolio.
• Daily cash management, monitoring, and bank reconciliations.
• Lead interaction with outside auditors for year-end audited financials.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to prepare fundraising materials.
• Coordinate with Tax team on quarterly estimates and year-end allocations.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, fund-level returns, and investor deliverables for various Private Debt funds
• Prepare monthly and quarterly MD&A on fund performance for senior management
• Review fund administrator's work on various Private Debt funds
• Prepare and review capital calls and distributions
• Track and update the portfolio of investments for the various Private Debt funds
• Track interest payment receipts across the portfolio team
• Daily cash management, monitoring, and reconciliation with the bank
• Lead role with the firm's outside auditor in preparation/review of year-end audited financials
• Work with the Investor Relations team in preparing fundraising materials and providing information for investor requests
• Work with the Tax team in preparing quarterly tax estimates and year-end tax allocations

Compensation

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000, Plus Bonus
