Job summary

Landing Point, Boston-based, is hiring a Finance Manager for its Private Debt division. The role focuses on financial reporting, accounting, and compliance for Private Debt funds, with leadership responsibility for junior staff.

You will prepare fund statements, MD&A, and investor materials, coordinate with auditors, and work with Investor Relations on fundraising disclosures. A CPA and 5+ years of experience in alternative investments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with CPA.
• 5+ years of experience, including public accounting, preferably in alternative investment asset managers.
• Extensive experience with Private Equity/Debt valuation.
• SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, fund level returns, and investor deliverables for Private Debt funds.
• Support Investor Relations with fundraising materials and investor requests.
• Prepare MD&A on fund performance for senior management.
• Contribute to valuation of debt, equity, and CLO investments.
• Coordinate with fund administrator on reporting for Private Debt funds.
• Manage capital calls and distributions for assigned funds.
• Collaborate with Tax on quarterly estimates and year-end allocations.
• Track investments and cash receipts; daily cash management and bank reconciliation.
• Lead coordination with outside auditors for year-end financials.
• Develop junior team members and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

A leading alternative investment manager is hiring a Finance Manager for its Private Debt division. The role is based in Boston and involves financial reporting, accounting, and compliance for Private Debt funds.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, fund level returns, and investor deliverables for various Private Debt funds
• Work with the Investor Relations team in preparing fundraising materials and providing information for investor requests
• Prepare monthly and quarterly MD&A on fund performance for senior management
• Contribute to the valuation process for debt, equity, and CLO investments
• Review fund administrator's work on various Private Debt funds
• Administration of assigned funds, including capital calls and distributions
• Work with the Tax team in preparing quarterly tax estimates and year-end tax allocations
• Track and update the portfolio of investments for the various Private Debt funds
• Track interest payment receipts across the portfolio team
• Daily cash management, monitoring, and reconciliation with the bank
• Lead role with the firm's outside auditor in preparation/review of year-end audited financials
• Provide timely communication to internal and external stakeholders on projects
• Responsible for coaching and developing junior team members

Compensation

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000, Plus Bonus
