Job summary

ArentFox Schiff's Private Clients, Trusts & Estates group seeks an attorney to support two partners in a sophisticated, rapidly growing practice in New York.

You will second-chair large matters, supervise team members, and advise family offices and closely-held businesses on lifetime and testamentary planning strategies, including researching tax implications and communicating with clients to advance their goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing client projects from inception to conclusion.
• Experience advising high-net-worth clients on tax and estate planning.
• Ability to second-chair large matters and manage teams.
• Strong understanding of income, fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.

Responsibilities

• Second-chair very large matters and independently manage others.
• Advise family offices and closely-held business owners on planning strategies.
• Develop and effectuated sophisticated lifetime and testamentary planning strategies.
• Research and project tax implications of planning techniques and prepare client materials.
