ArentFox Schiff is seeking a Senior Associate (8th-year class or above), Counsel, or Income Partner to join its Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice. The attorney will second chair large matters and independently manage others, with extensive work on multi-generational client matters and direct client communication to advance goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience managing client projects from inception to conclusion with timelines and accountability.
• Exceptional attention to detail in all tasks and documents.
• Strong understanding of income, fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax regimes.
• Willingness to step in on short notice to meet client deadlines and supervise others.
• Proven ability to manage client projects and supervise junior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Advise family offices and closely-held business owners on sophisticated lifetime and testamentary planning.
• Lead and supervise junior attorneys; oversee research and tax projections for planning techniques.
• Meet with clients to advance their goals and communicate complex concepts clearly.
