ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking a Senior Associate (8th‑year class or above), Counsel, or Income Partner to join its Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice. The role supports two senior partners across multiple offices nationwide, handling sophisticated lifetime and testamentary planning for family offices and closely‑held businesses.

The position emphasizes leadership in complex matters, client communication, and supervising junior attorneys, with a base salary range of $350,000–$500,000

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
• Experience managing client projects from inception to conclusion, including task lists and timelines.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of income, fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation‑skipping transfer tax regimes.
• Willingness to step in on short notice to complete projects to meet client deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client projects and supervise junior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Advise family offices and closely‑held business owners with sophisticated lifetime and testamentary planning strategies.
• Develop and implement planning techniques and related client educational materials.
• Supervise junior attorneys and coordinate research and analysis to inform tax implications.
